What gauge string should I choose?
What gauge string should I choose?
The gauge of tennis string you should choose depends on your playing style and preferences. Thinner strings offer more spin and feel but may sacrifice durability. Thicker strings provide more durability and power but a bit less spin🎾

Im old school pro and use sync with gut. It is great. Superb control and feel. Tension stays constant and doesn’t cut into gut
Using sync for my whole team!
I bought Sync at the start of the summer for my USTA season. I was playing with ALU Power but the tension dropped after 2-3 hours of play, a friend recommended me Sync and have not looked back since. Really happy with the performance, feels great and I break the string before I begin to feel the tension drop.
Was looking for a while for a round poly string to replace Solinco Tour Bite (played great, but it chew through the gut in no time) in my hybrid setup. Tried several other round polys, but couldn't find one (except Luxilon Alu Power Rough) to be firm and keeping the gut in place (after less then one hour, had to start putting back gut in place, would get a big whole after serve in my string bed). Restring Sync was the first one to provide me the same feel as Tourbite. Played for about 7-8 hours, and now the polys start to feel a bit mushy (my string bed feels a bit more like trampoline, stringing at 50 lbs). Also trying Toroline Caviar is quite close to Sync, but didn't play enough yet with both to have better comparison. In any case, if you are looking for a stiff cross string in gut/poly setup, I would definitely recommend it.
Great strings!
I used Zero for a long time and wanted to try this out when I got an email this was going to be released.
Pros:
-Snapback is still good
-Launch angle is good (Zero was a little high)
-Softer than Zero (I had a wrist problem with Zero)
-Control is incredible
-Good for the one-handed backhand
Cons:
-Could be too soft
-At first, I felt too much power
-Spin potential was a little lesser than Zero
